Every spring, Peek's Chapel Elementary honors one teacher who exceeds expectations and goes above and beyond the usual duties and responsibilities to serve their students, colleagues, and school.
 
PCE is proud to announce Mrs. Veronica Burke is our Teacher of the Year for 2023-24!


Mrs. Burke will be entered into the district-wide Teacher of the Year competition. All school-level Teachers of the Year will be honored in a ceremony held at Rockdale Career Academy and the RCPS winner will be named that evening. The RCPS Teacher of the Year will go on to the state-wide contest.
