I am excited to enter my third year as Assistant Principal at Peek's Chapel Elementary School. I look forward to an exciting and dynamic year where we learn and grow together as a school community. I know that our scholars' lives will be enriched by the learning experiences they will participate in this school year.
As I enter my twenty-third year in education, with the last 16 spent here in the Rockdale County Public Schools district, I reflect on the various positions I have held and the initiatives I have led. I have served as a classroom teacher, Reading EIP teacher, Talented and Gifted Specialist, and Instructional Coach. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Additionally, I have earned an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Leadership Certification.
I am genuinely passionate about my craft and committed to doing everything with excellence. I hold high expectations for our scholars and teachers. As a lifelong learner, I am dedicated to supporting the development and growth of our scholars and teachers. I am dedicated to collaborating with our parents, stakeholders, and district leaders to continue making a positive impact in our school community.
This year's goals include supporting the district's ABCDE strategic priorities of improving Attendance, Behavior, Content Mastery, Development, and Engagement.
I am proud to be a part of the faculty, staff, and school community here at Peek's Chapel, the Home of the Pandas, where we are Lighting the Path to Success. Let's make this year a testament to our theme: Mic Check: Excellence in Progress.
