I am genuinely excited about joining the Peek's Chapel Elementary School family as your Assistant Principal! I look forward to an exciting and dynamic year where we learn and grow together. I know that our scholars' lives will be enriched from the learning experiences that they will participate in during this school year.  I am entering my twenty-first year in education. The last thirteen years of my career have been spent here in Rockdale County Public Schools district. I have held various positions throughout my career and have lead several initiatives. I have served as a classroom teacher in Kindergarten, Second, Third, and Fourth grades. I have worked as a Reading EIP teacher for two years. In addition, I have worked as a Talented and Gifted Specialist for two years. Lastly, I have worked as an Instructional Coach for the past four years.  I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. In addition, I have also earned an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Leadership Certification from Kennesaw State University.  I am genuinely passionate about my craft and doing everything with excellence. I hold high expectations for scholars and teachers. As a lifelong learner, I am committed to supporting our scholars' and teachers' development and growth.  I look forward to seeing our scholars and teachers meet and exceed their individualized goals. I am proud to be part of the faculty, staff, and school community here at Peek's Chapel Elementary School, the Home of the Pandas, where we are "Lighting the path to success."

It is with great enthusiasm that I join Peek’s Chapel Elementary School as your Assistant Principal! I am Eagerly looking forward to getting to know each of you and spending time learning from you. I am  confident that we will continue to provide our scholars with a truly challenging and enriching school experience.  I am entering my nineteenth year in education. I have served 8 years as a teacher, 7 years as an Instructional Coach, and 3 years as an Assistant Principal. I obtained a Bachelor of    Science degree in Elementary Education from Georgia State University, a Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Central Michigan University, an Educational Specialist degree in Educational  Leadership from Liberty University, and a Doctor of Education degree in Teacher Leadership from Kennesaw State University.  It is my goal to provide a safe and nurturing educational environment that challenges our scholars to reach beyond their expectancies and become lifelong learners who will make the world a better place. I am honored and energized to lead our scholars, staff, and community.
